In 2017 City Spice was the only British restaurant invited to the prestigious ‘Taste of Britain’ festival in India. The trip, organised by Curry Life magazine, saw restaurant owner Abdul Ahad join Michelin star winning chef Rupert Rowley to swap culinary secrets in a celebration of the best techniques and flavours ‘at source’, as well as the unique twists and adaptations from British shores.
